This week, Professor Borden presented research into temperature effects on microbubble elasticity at the 2018 ACS Colloids meeting at Penn State.
Collaborators at UNC Chapel Hill showed that our oxygen microbubbles improve radiation therapy and tumor control.
Over the past year, Professor Borden was appointed to the NIH Biomaterials and Bio-interfaces (BMBI) study section and the Scientific Board for the European Contrast Ultrasound Symposium. He was also elected to the topical program committee of the IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium.
Congrats to Connor Slagle on his new paper describing click chemistry ligand conjugation to microbubbles!
Congratulations to Jordan Lum on his new paper describing novel measurements of microbubble shell viscoelasticity!
Congratulations to Alec Thomas for his new paper on lung surfactant microbubbles!
Prof. Borden gave an invited talk at the 2018 American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine meeting in New York. Enjoyed a great session on Theranostics organized by Ken Hoyt and Kevin Haworth!
Graduate student Alec Thomas gave a poster on lung surfactant microbubbles at the 2018 European Contrast Ultrasound Symposium in Rotterdam.
